In Search of Gold
pre 2004
Paintings from an exhibition at what was then the Alchemist Gallery to celebrate my 60th birthday
in which the theme was gold - in subject and in material. I experimented with incorporating into my paintings gold, silver and copper leaf as well as other metallic materials such as bronze powder. Only some of the paintings from this group were were photographed at the time and I currently have no record of others
